As you already know, the Apple Watch is to go on sale next month. We have just received word that the device has now received FCC clearance and it is all set to hit the retail stores in the United States next month. Pre-orders are to begin on the 11th of April with shipping commencing on the 24th of April.

All electronic devices must now pass through the FCC to ensure that they comply with every communication standard set forth by the regulating authority. The Apple Watch has now received the green stamp of approval giving us a clear signal that this latest Apple device is on track to complete their plans to sell their first ever wearable.

Now that the Apple Watch has passed through the FCC doesn't necessarily mean that it is ready for sale worldwide. Apple still has to get approval from a number of different regulating authorities before getting the official thumbs up for sale in different countries. Apple made things clear on their website regarding their FCC approval which said that: this devices has not been authorized as required by the rules of the Federal Communications Commission. This device is not, and may not be, offered for sale or lease, or sold or leased, until authorization is obtained.

Now that FCC approval has been received, the above statement has been removed from the website. The Apple Watch is all set to now go on pre-order on the 10th of April with retail availability on the 24th of April. You can now officially get excited about getting your hands on the first Apple wearable device.
