The highly anticipated news we have all been waiting for, the Apple Watch, arrived today at the Apple 2015 Spring Forward Keynote. There was even some news about a new notebook computer and an update on Apple TV. All in all, we have to say it was a very successful morning for Apple and in this post we bring you a summary of everything that was announced as well as a video of the keynote speech.

The big news for Apple TV is for all those fans of Games of Thrones. It was announced that the series would premiere via HOB's new HBO Now streaming service exclusively to Apple TV. The new streaming service will cost $14.99 and will be exclusive to Apple TV owners at launch. This means that Apple TV will bring Games of Thrones to televisions at the same time as cable networks. On top of this, Apple TV has been slashed in price from $99 to $69 which makes it even more affordable for every TV in your home.

The big news here is that the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus helped Apple to a new milestone having sold 700 million iPhones. Apple Pay support has now topped 700,000 retailers and 2,500 banks too.

Looking to bring medical research into an iOS world, Apple's ResearchKit allows iPhone owners to be part of medical research. Researchers will be able to get data based on a range of illnesses and ailments, and the framework will be open source as well.

The rumors that we reported some time ago have been proven true. Apple have announced a new 12 inch MacBook. This new device will be just 13.1mm thin, which makes it 24% thinner than the latest 11 inch MacBook Air. New keyboard technology, an improved trackpad that implements Force Touch and a single USB Type C port are all included as is Retina display. It comes in silver, space gray and gold.

Existing MacBook Airs and Pros also got hardware upgrades today.

Finally the news we have all been waiting for and the answer to that all important, how much will a gold Apple Watch cost, question has been released. The gold Apple Watch is going to cost $10,000 but that's okay because the Sport and regular Apple Watch are what we will all be buying and the pricing for those will start at $349 for the 38mm Apple Watch Sport and $399 for the 42mm Sport edition. The 38mm Apple Watch in steel will range from $549 to $1,049 and the 42mm version of this will cost between $599 and $1,099. The Apple watch will go up for pre-orders on the 10th of April and will start shipping on the 24th of April. It will be available in 9 countries on the 24th of April and these are: Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, UK and USA.

Apple also released iOS 8.2 today along with the Apple Watch companion app that we all thought would make an appearance.

Well that's it, but if you would like to see and hear everything for yourself, below is the complete keynote video for you to enjoy.
